Who We Are

The Architects at SNJ Design Studio offer expertise for a wide variety of building projects. We are experienced in both residential and commercial developments. Our qualified professionals have successfully designed, planned and managed the construction process for many homes and buildings in Northeast Ohio. All resulting in distinguished, elegant and contextual designs that are as practical as they are visually appealing.

Principal Stephen N. Jouriles

Stephen N. Jouriles, AIA, CDP, LEED AP left his position as Architectural Department Manager in a large engineering and architecture firm to create SNJ Design Studio as a Limited Liability Corporation in 2010. SNJ Design Studio fills a void within the greater Cleveland area by serving prospective clients with affordable, quality architectural design. While many firms are not willing to take on small projects due to low profit margins, SNJ Design Studio gladly serves those in the community requiring assistance. Be it creating documents for a Certificate of Occupancy in an existing building or new ground up construction, SNJ Design Studio is here to help.

  • Center for Engaged Liberal Arts, Oberlin College & Conservatory – Design, Construction Documents, and Contract Administration for the CELA Department on the Garden Level of the Mudd Center (campus library). Evaluated client’s prototype building recommending revisions to include sustainable practices.
